I can't help but think that what we are witnessing now with the abuses of power by Coalition Forces in Iraq is the logical consequence of the systemic dehumanizing of individuals, whether they be in the Middle East or picked up in Chicago Midway, that has been prevalent in the Shrub Administration since day one. Am I the only one that remembers the debates about the CIA sending interrogation subjects to other governments who would use torture as a tactic immediately after 9-11?

Not much is new in my world. A friend of mine is good friends with the kid who did the Democratic weekly address and is being criticized by the current administration and John McCain. So I was wondering what it would be like to wake up one morning and find articles about yourself in the New York Times and hearing John McCain tell you that you are being overly political.
